Following the Guernon case (The Crimson Rivers), back in the 2000’s, the emblematic police captain Pierre Niemans has been mutated at the head of the Central Office against Blood Crimes (OOCS). This new and confidential unit handles the most sensitive cases, where there is few evidence, and where serial murders have to be resolve as soon as possible. It’s during a particularly tough case that Niemans comes across his ex-best student and spiritual daughter, Camille Delaunay.
True experts of the dark side of human soul, explosive duo with very eccentric methodology, Niemans and Camille are sent all over France, in regions where legends, landscapes and traditions, are combine with complicated murders, with investigations always more dense and nervous.
Independent, efficient and gifted with unusual bravery, this crack team can fade into the background, not hesitating to sleep homestays, in order to find out what the inhabitants are hiding…
Borderline and fun, they are also quick, efficient and sometimes, very dangerous…
